This past week, Washington Graphics LLC printed 27 vinyl banners as well as A-Frame skins for the Haggen/Top Foods retailers in the Seattle area. The large banners, ranging in sizes from 25′ x 5′ to 10′ x 3′, as well as the 6-foot A-board graphics, are advertisements for the chain’s upcoming Monopoly game promotional event.
The grocer’s history began in 1933 when Ben and Dorothy Haggen and Doug Clark founded Haggen, Inc. with only $1100. Over the last 79 years, the company has expanded throughout Washington and Oregon and has dedicated themselves to “providing our customers with the very best quality, personal service, and the latest innovations from around the world.”
It is no surprise that Haggen led the way in modernizing America’s grocery stores. In 1941, they were the first grocer in the region to offer a self-service meat department.
A decade later in 1951, Haggen was the first grocery store in the country to offer an FTD floral department within their stores.
In 1982, Haggen continued to lead the way in customer service by opening the first 24-hour grocery store in the region. And finally, in 1989, they became the first grocery store in the United States to have an in-store Starbucks – something very near and dear to the hearts of Seattleites!
Today, Haggen continues to thrive as the Northwest’s largest independent grocer and, according to SuperMarket News, one of the nation’s 75 largest grocery chains.
Vinyl banners such as these are the perfect way to advertise for promotions, sales, events, or even for your company’s location in a bold, large, noticeable fashion. They can promote your business 24/7, and our top quality indoor or outdoor banners can stand up to even the most inclement weather.
