Update: New ‘Oklahoma!’ Promotional Printed for 5th Ave Theatre

Washington Graphics LLC  printed a new promotional sign for the famous 5th Avenue Theatre’s upcoming production Oklahoma! This world renowned show runs from February 3rd – March 4th 2012.

The production will feature a truly remarkable cast, pairing the brilliant 5th Avenue Theatre with world-famous choreographer Donald Byrd and his talented Spectrum Dance Theatre.

Byrd became artistic director of Seattle’s Spectrum Theatre in 2002 after a long and successful career in both Los Angeles and New York. His prior company, Donald Byrd/The Group was a critically acclaimed and highly regarded contemporary dance company that began in Los Angeles in 1978 and later relocated to New York in 1983 until its closing in 2002.

Byrd studied at many prestigious institutions such as Tufts, Yale, The Cambridge school of Ballet, and The Alvin Ailey American Dance Center and has danced with many celebrated performers such as Twyla Tharp, Karole Armitage, and Gus Solomons Jr., just to name a few!

Byrd’s most famous work is probably his critically acclaimed rendition of the nutcracker entitled ‘The Harlem Nutcracker,’ which toured the United States for five years.

Today, Seattle is proud to be home to such a talented choreographer and is excited to see his prowess shine in Oklahoma!
